TAADI POZZO BAND SET TO RELEASE DEBUT LIVE RECORDING ALBUM – “WORLD MUSIC”
Ghanaian singer-songwriter Daniel Mawuli Quarshiega and his Taadi Pozzo Band are gearing up to unveil their first album, “World Music.” This exciting project is a fusion of Neo-soul and Afro-soul songs recorded during their live concerts.
“World Music” offers a captivating journey through nine tracks that blend beats, melodies, and emotions, promising an unforgettable sonic adventure. According to Pozzo, the band’s leader, listening to live music performances provides a unique experience, making you feel like you’re right there in the concert hall, immersed in the music.
One standout track, “Woman,” by backing vocalist Felicia Amoah, celebrates the strength, independence, and empowerment of women in today’s world. This powerful message is beautifully conveyed through live band instrumentations and powerful vocals, making it a song to keep on repeat.
Love takes center stage in another track, “Foreign Love,” where Taadi Pozo’s soothing voice serenades the idea of a strong, black, African love. The Afrofusion-inspired Soul track is sure to resonate with listeners.
And, of course, no Taadi Pozo Band project is complete without a dose of Palmwine Highlife. The album includes two Palmwine Highlife songs, adding depth and diversity to the musical experience.
